Synopsis

Left or right.

It’s that simple, and it isn’t simple at all.

If I turn left, the road will lead me back to the man I promised my life to, the one I’d imagined building a family with, the one who’s done everything in his power to get me back.

If I turn right, the road will take me to the man I loved first, the man who brought me back to life, the man who would do anything to keep me.

I knew the fork in the road was inevitable; it was the decision I never wanted to make between choices I didn’t know I had.

And I love them both.

My heart is destined to exist in two equal halves — one with each man. But one half beats stronger, the vein running deepest, and holds my choice in silence long before I know it for myself.

The realization of what I have to do, of the heart I have to break, just might break mine too.

Left or right.

All I have to do is take a breath and turn.

Review

The love, heartbreak and angst is overwhelmingly real in this highly anticipated conclusion of the What He Doesn’t Know Duet. Readers be prepared for the emotionally captivating rollercoaster that this story will surely take you on…

What He Always Knew broke me down and stripped away the layers of my heart until I was left raw. This story will caught you like a knife with the intensity of love, devotion and hatred that bleeds from the pages. My heart broke and I was shaken to the core of my emotions. They say a story generally has two sides, but this one had three and each voice was stronger then the next. This was unlike anything I ever expected and for that I can say without a doubt in my mind that it blew past every single one of my expectations. After reading What He Doesn’t Know I was torn between Reese and Cam, but in the end my heart followed the “He” of the story and I couldn’t be more ecstatic with Charlie’s choice!

Readers get ready to discover the “He” of this beautifully unique tale. Trust me when I say that you won’t know until the very end. This story will take you on the ride of your life so make sure to hold on tight and proceed with caution. Don’t say I didn’t warn you…

Finding my teammate in bed with my wife made the decision I had been fighting with for years easier.

A fresh start and a new NHL team in a big city. Most importantly, it’s my son Jack’s best shot.

It would be both of our best shots.

Denise

After a bad childhood, I made sure I would succeed, so I lived for my job.

The problem is I die a little with each patient I lose. It’s part of my career at Hudson Children’s Oncology Hospital, but it doesn’t make the sting of loss any easier.

Seeking anything other than a life saved isn’t on my agenda until a NHL player walks into my hospital with his son.

We’re officially off script the moment we meet.

If this love is anything, it’s unscripted.

Now there’s a new player in the game, August West.
One of the NBA’s brightest stars.
Fine. Forbidden.
He wants me. I want him.
But my past, my fraudulent prince, just won’t let me go.

Review

Long Shot is the kind of story that will leave you raw and exposed to your emotions. This is not necessarily an easy read because it deals with some heavy topics, but let me say that the intensity of this story will leave you breathless and on the edge of your seat in anticipation until the very end.

This was unlike anything I ever expect, but it was an extraordinary read and I couldn’t have imagined this book any other way. While this is technically a romantic story about August and Iris, it’s Iris’s story through and through. Readers will witness her undeniable strength and determination as she fights tooth and nail to protect the ones she loves. Iris is the definition of strength and her growth throughout the story was amazing to watch. At times this story gripped my heart so tight and brought tears to my eyes, but the ending was worth it. This story gives readers hope that there is always something better out there for us. Never settle and remember to always follow your heart because it will never lead you astray.

Long Shot is an incredibly captivating and emotional raw story, but it is perhaps one of my favorite reads because it shows that events in life do not define us. It is our strength that we possess that will heal us in even the worst experiences of life. I strongly recommend this book and I cannot wait for Lo and Kenan’s story next!

Synopsis

Dear Isaiah,

Eight months ago, you were just a soldier about to be deployed and I was just a waitress, sneaking you free pancakes and hoping you wouldn’t notice that my gaze was lingering a little too long.

But you did notice.

We spent a “week of Saturdays” together before you left, and we said goodbye on day eight, exchanging addresses at the last minute.

I saved every letter you ever sent, your words quickly becoming my religion.

But you went radio silent on me months ago, and then you had the audacity to walk into my diner yesterday and act like you’d never seen me in your life.

To think…I almost loved you and your beautifully complicated soul.

Almost.

Whatever your reason is—I hope it’s a good one.

Maritza the Waitress,
PS – I hate you, and this time…I mean it.

Review

It’s hard to believe that P.S. I Hate You was my first Winter Renshaw read, but I can now say without a doubt of hesitation that it certainly will not be my last. Right from the very beginning I was hooked and ended up devouring it in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down.

This is a story about two strangers who spend a “week of Saturdays” together before Isaiah has to leave to go back overseas. What they didn’t expected was an undeniable bond and connection to form in those few short days. Neither one of them anticipate the loss they would feel when he left. The chemistry between Maritza and Isaiah radiated from the pages and embraced my heart from start to finish. I freaking loved their story because it was filled with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat in anticipation.

Winter Renshaw did an amazing keeping readers engaged in this book and I would love to see more books with the supporting characters, especially if it’s Maritza cousin, Melrose. I can’t wait to see what the author comes up with next and I will definitely check out some of her past releases.

It’s hard to date in the theatre department when all the guys are either taken or gay—like her best friend and longtime crush.

When Callie becomes the lead in the biggest production of the year, she realizes she has no time for love.

Until Sebastian “Bash” Moore reenters her life, stage left.

He left everything behind three years ago to chase his dreams. But his heart remained at home, tied to memories of a tiny blonde with a flair for the dramatics—on and off the stage.

Bash is determined to become her leading man, and he will do anything to get out of the friend-zone and win her love. Only, it might not be so easy.

Callie Miller might love drama, but she’s out to protect her heart…

Review

Oh my freaking goodness! Lo Brynolf sure knows how to bring on the laughs because this story had me laughing my ass off right from the beginning thanks to the witty banter between Callie and Bash. I was instantly hooked and couldn’t help but devour this extraordinary read in one sitting because it was just that good!

Bashful is a hilarious and flirty read with the perfect amount of feels that every book lover craves. The drama on and off stage is evident and there is no denying the chemistry that these two share! At least in the readers eyes…. Callie and Bash were both pretty clueless about each others feeling for most of the book, which is probably why I was on the edge of my seat in anticipation until the very end! I cracked up between their mixed feelings and it was so funny to see how oblivious they were.

This story was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and I was blown away because this happens to be Lo Brynolf’s debut novel. Seriously it’s hard to believe that a story this beautifully written can be an author’s first release! I cannot wait to see what the author comes up with next and I have no doubt in my mind that they will be just as perfect as this story was. Looking forward to watching her blossom as a writer in the upcoming years!
