Somebody once said we don’t decide who we love. The world decides for us. But I disagree.

I believe love is a decision.
Who we love, how we love.
It’s in our control–in our hands.

I grew up having no clue about the true meaning of love. Money. Cars. Houses. Status. Fame. That’s what love means to the people around me.

It wasn’t until the woman I picked up in a bar came back into my life and showed me love can be so much more.

So, what’s the problem?

The woman I’m falling in love with believes in fairytales. She compares everything to a storybook and wants the happily-ever-after.

So while she’s stuck on recreating stories that have already been told, page by page, I’m showing her it’s time we write our own book.

Nobody ever said the journey of falling in love would be easy, just that it would be worth it.

This is one of those stories that took me a little while to get into it, but once I did I was hooked. A one night stand that turns out could actually lead to a happily ever after…or could it? I mean this is an imperfect love story after all. Let’s just say there are a few obstacles in the way. He believes that love is a decision while she believes in fairytales and happily ever afters. When something totally unexpected happens, neither one of them knew what that night set into motion…at least not at the time.

Nicholas Shaw and Olivia Harper’s chemistry sizzled up my heart and had me swooning, at least once Nick finally pulled his head out of his ass of course. Sure this hero rubbed me the wrong way in the beginning, but that is what I loved most about him. A little heartbreak made him bitter, but once he met the right woman it all changed. Their romance had its up and downs, just like any other romance, and I loved everything moment of it! This story is a must read!
