I was infatuated with Asher Kelley the moment he came tumbling through my brother’s window five years ago.

Even bruised and bloodied, he was the most beautiful boy I’d ever seen.

We couldn’t ever be together.

I was too young, and he was too untouchable.

He was too troubled, and I was too naive.

But the heart is rebellious, and mine decided it didn’t care about any of those things.

As I got older, harmless flirting turned to stolen moments in dark corners.

Until one day, he was gone without a trace.

Now, three years later, he’s back.

Callous and cruel.

He’s my brother’s best friend. My parents’ worst nightmare.

I should hate him.

But like a Bad Habit, I can’t quit him.

I was drawn to Briar Vale from the first time she looked up at me with stars in her big, blue eyes.

She was just a kid, nothing but elbows and knees, but she was the most beautiful creature I’d ever seen.

We could never be together.

I was too old and she was too off limits.

She was too good and I was too fucked up.

Eventually, the temptation became too much to resist.

I risked everything for a kiss and she betrayed me.

Three years have passed and I’m forced to see her again, but now she’s all grown up.

She’s my best friend’s baby sister. My downfall.

I hate her for what she did.

But she’s always been my drug of choice.

You know that you have stumbled across an extraordinary story when you completely neglect all of your adult responsibilities without a single care in the world. Seriously I don’t even feel guilty because this book was definitely worth waking up two hours earlier to finish an assignment that is due at noon (don’t you dear judge me because this college girl needs a break every now and then 😉). I still cannot believe that I didn’t discover Charleigh Rose until earlier this year because she has easily become one of my all-time favorite authors!

I absolutely LOVED every moment of Asher and Briar’s story and I even think it’s safe to say that they are my new favorite bad habit (pun totally intended)! This story was not one…not two…but THREE of my favorite book troupes all rolled into one EPIC tale! It has got the whole older brother’s best friend, enemies to lovers and second chance kinda vibe to it. GOSH…their story was EVERYTHING and all I can keep thinking about is getting my hands on Charleigh Rose’s next release because her last two releases have certainly become some of my most favorite reads and have left me on the edge of my seat!

Asher has the power to become Briar’s worst bad habit, and yet they couldn’t be more perfect for each other. You can see the love and intense passion that these two share right from the very beginning and I was certainly rooting them on every single step of the way. Their story captivated my whole heart and soul and I have forever been changed by Asher and Briar’s love.

Bad Habit in my eyes is a story that deserves a THOUSAND star rating (if only one existed…maybe one day) and one that should be on ever book lovers e-reader or bookshelf right this instance. Oh and readers be prepared to experience ALL THE FEELS because the phenomenally talented Charleigh Rose is the QUEEN of emotions!
