I wish someone would’ve warned me about the dangers of falling in love with your best friend.
I was no stranger to covering up my problems with meaningless sex and alcohol.
When Brea asked me for one night to help her forget, I craved being the man she needed.
Then she begged me to promise her nothing would change between us. I couldn’t bring myself to lie to her.
One broken promise.
I will never forget the night I fell in love with my best friend, and now nothing will ever be the same.
*Lost Before You is an interconnected stand-alone. You do not need to read Where I Found You to enjoy this book.*
Lost Before You is a beautifully written and emotionally captivating read. I am so freaking proud to see how much the author has grown since her debut novel, Where I Found You, released back in May 2017.
This one of those reads that once you started, you never wanted to put it down until you reached that last page. Of course because I am a busy college student I was forced at times to set it down, but the second I had a chance my eyes glued to my kindle. Somehow (even with my abundance of homework) I managed to devour this brilliant story in ONE DAY!
I absolutely adored the chemistry between Mason and Brea and found myself fully invested in these two. They made my heart melt and I was rooting for them from the very beginning. You can’t help but fall in love with them! This story kept my engaged from start to finish and now I can’t wait to see what the next book in this series has to hold. Although this story is considered a standalone, I totally suggest checking out Where I Found You, because you will get Callum (Mase’s older brother) and Ellie’s full story!

If she’s not reading or writing, you’ll probably find her spending time with her family, watching NBA basketball, going to the movies, or collecting signed paperbacks.
